Dr. Freddys X. Garcia, MS, DC, DACNB, FACFN, FABES, an adjunct clinician at Plasticity Brain Centers, Director of Marketing and Product Development and Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology at the Carrick Institute, will be presenting at the 2018 Florida Chiropractic Association (FCA) Northwest Regional Convention and Exposition. The convention will take place Feb 8-11 at Sheraton Bay Point in Panama City Beach, FL.
Each year, the FCA NW Regional Convention and Exposition bring together to greatest minds in healthcare to discuss emerging practices and provide the opportunity to acquire clinical continuing education credit hours. Speakers at the convention will present on a range of topics from ethics, documentation, to clinical mastery workshops, with a focus on chiropractic’s contribution to reducing the opioid epidemic.
For his presentation, Dr. Garcia will join a panel of other speakers in discussing the integration of chiropractic care into mainstream medicine. Traditionally, chiropractic care has been considered alternative medicine. The presenters will make the case that the future of mainstream medicine depends on the integration and collaboration of chiropractic care in the healthcare community to produce the best results for patients.
Plasticity Brain Centers provides both chiropractic and neurological rehabilitative services to those suffering from brain injury or neurodegenerative conditions, as well as brain optimization programs for those looking to keep their mind in peak condition. This is made possible through engagement with targeted neuro-receptors in a concept known as “neuroplasticity,” an approach widely accepted by the scientific community, only available in leading-edge treatment centers.
